The Revenge of Mannequin

What exactly is identity, and does our identity limit and bind our behavior and thoughts? This project is about the definition and boundaries of identity, and an effort to break the shackles that identity places on us. The inspiration was related to when I was using a man table for design, and when I stuck the pin on the table, I suddenly wondered if it would feel pain.

Challenge: The biggest challenge for me in the whole project was that this Draping experiment was something I had never tried before. This Draping experiment broke through the limitations of two-dimensional garments by adding padding to them to break the boundaries of traditional clothes. The sewing technique was also a challenge for me. I started to try to make some installation-like accessories outside the garment. After numerous failures and repeated attempts, I finally achieved the desired effect.
